Insurance and Financial Information
Our insurance and financial policies are designed to be as convenient as possible for our patients. We will work hard to help you understand all of the costs involved and will work with you to navigate your coverage with your insurance provider. If you opt to pay for our services yourself, we will help secure financing. If you have questions about our policies, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to help. Please note that there is also a $200.00 program fee now for all new Medical Weight Loss patients and Surgical patients transferring from another practice into our program with existing Bands/Bypass.
Dr. Joe Northup, MD is a BLIS Surgeon.
Only surgeons who meet selective BLIS requirement can offer their cash-pay patients complication protection. BLIS surgeons:
- Demonstrate outcomes within expected norms for each weight loss surgery procedure.
- Are continually evaluated against the entire population of BLIS surgeons.
BLIS Surgeon Commitment:
Patients will have no financial responsibility for complication related to care if:
- Complications occur within specified time frames following surgery.
- Care is authorized by your BLIS Surgeon.

Program Fees
Recognizing that not all patients are alike, we offer three different program options for you to choose. Our Silver, Gold and Platinum program offer full access to all of our lifelong support services however our Gold and Platinum program offer premium access to our HealthPlex facility and time with personal trainers.
The Program Fee is an out-of-pocket fee and is not covered by commercial insurance. The Program Fee is due in full following your initial private consultation with our Medical Director. Download our Program Fee Overview here.
Our Financial Policies
For your convenience, our office accepts all major insurance. In addition, co-pays, program fees and other out of pocket costs can be paid by credit card or check.
